We make pieces using slab construction techniques.
We wire and finish our fixtures in house.
Located in the Bantam Arts Factory, our spaces include our production studio, glazing annex, showroom, storage room and shipping & wiring department.
We are a small team of driven and enthusiastic people who work closely together to achieve and maintain a high standard of work.
Position Overview Dumais Made is looking to hire an entry-level, full-time Sales Assistant.
The ideal candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, has excellent communication and people skills and is extremely detail oriented.
This role will report directly to the Studio Director and work closely with Dumais' Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Studio Director Assist with day-to-day communication with clients including creating and sharing product quotes and sending invoices.
Light Showroom management.
Work closely with our shipping department to resolve any customer service issues.
Coordinate specialty and custom shade orders.
Lead in-person tours of our showroom and studio spaces when necessary.
Conduct regular client follow-ups.
Help to build and maintain libraries for the company's photos and other digital assets.
Assist with all photo and video shoots.
Qualifications Some sales experience is preferred, but not required.
Entry level candidates are welcome.
Data entry and Shopify (or similar) experience is a plus, but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Drive and Adobe programs.
Must enjoy regular interaction with team members and clients and be willing to roll up your sleeves as a team player.
Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to adapt to frequent changes and shift focus to special projects.
Must have a hands-on, results-driven, positive mentality and passion for attention to detail.
Must maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
Location & Compensation This is a full-time position.
In person attendance is required in Bantam, CT studio.
Competitive salary range between $45,000 - $65,000 depending on skills and experience.
